<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair for which an option member can be attached to a backrest where a spreading member is spread with appropriate tension so as not to be abutted to the back of a sitting person and so as not to be excessively large. <P>SOLUTION: The chair includes the backrest 9 composed of a back frame 27 formed by connecting a pair of right and left side frame rods 29 by a connecting rod 220 in a horizontal direction and the spreading member 28 spread to the back frame 27, and the option member 11 is attached to the backrest so as to be positioned at the back of the backrest. A step part 30a recessed to the back is formed at the front surface lower part of the connecting rod, a downward projection piece 68 is provided on the back part of the step part, the support arm 230 of the option member is disposed in the inner peripheral space of the back frame from the back surface side of the back frame, an upward projection piece 231 provided on the support arm is abutted and locked to the front surface of the downward projection piece 68, and thus the option member is prevented from moving to the back surface side of the back frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
