<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas detector capable of detecting harmful gas while fully mixing exhaust discharged from a plurality of combustion parts, without increasing exhaust back resistance over and above what is required, and of reducing physical size smaller; and a combustion device including such a gas detector. <P>SOLUTION: A gas detector 8 is disposed between a plurality of combustion parts and exhaust parts, including a gas detection means that detects prescribed gas included in discharged gas exhausted by the combustion parts; wherein a partition wall part 25 is arranged for diverting the direction of exhaust gas flow, which extends from an exhaust introduction region 50 along the partition wall part 25 and forms an exhaust flow path up to an exhaust outlet 26. Then, in the extension on the downstream side of the exhaust flow direction beyond the exhaust outlet 26 of the exhaust flow path, a stirring region 42 is formed to stir exhaust gas of a different flow direction.
