<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a line use efficiency of a synchronous network by making it possible to predict how much a data amount will increase due to code conversion at the time of accommodation of reception data from an asynchronous network in a predetermined frame. <P>SOLUTION: A frame, in which reception data from an asynchronous network is accommodated, is divided into a plurality of segments and an unused code of each segment after the division is detected. A specific code in each segment is converted into the unused code detected in the segment and the specific code is inserted into an inter-frame gap portion after the code conversion as a code indicative of invalidity to thereby generate a frame transmittable in a synchronous network. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
