<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic control structure for controlling the planar twisting and the rigidity difference in height direction in a structure. <P>SOLUTION: A seismic control structure comprises a first structure 6, and a second structure 4 with a lower height and a higher rigidity than those of the first structure. The first structure includes an overhang part 8 that overhangs in an upper story in horizontal direction and covers at least part of the second structure, and the second structure has, at its top, a horizontal support 14 that supports a lower floor portion 10 of the overhang part in vertical direction and follows a displacement with the overhang part in horizontal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
