<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce accidents to a maintenance operator who is operating a portable maintenance terminal on a cage during elevator travel by providing an elevator maintenance environment in which the maintenance operator is not required to operate the portable maintenance terminal on the cage during the elevator travel. <P>SOLUTION: An elevator maintenance device comprises a control board 2 installed in the cage of an elevator, and a portable maintenance terminal 3 connecting with the control board 2 and capable of displaying and changing information for maintenance of the elevator by communicating with the control board 2. A connection terminal 4 for the portable maintenance terminal 3 is provided on the cage, and a contact 10 is provided which disables the portable maintenance terminal 3 connected to the connection terminal to be used during the elevator travel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
