<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclic bill processing device in which the increase in the number of components due to installation of a holding unit only for payment separately from a receiving and holding unit and the increase in size of a device configuration are eliminated. <P>SOLUTION: A cyclic bill processing device includes: a holding and separating unit 9 which receives and holds a bill bundle inserted from a receipt/payment unit 5 and sends out individually separated bills to the downstream side; a discrimination unit 11 which discriminates bills individually sent out from the holding and separating unit; a branching unit 13 which sorts, per denomination, bills carried from the discrimination unit to the downstream side; a cyclic safe 15 into which bills sorted by the branching unit are housed per denomination and from which bills housed therein are individually sent to the holding and separating unit; and control means 20. The control means performs such control that bills individually sent out from the cyclic safe are successively carried to the holding and separating unit via a carrying path including the discrimination unit and are accumulated in the holding and separating unit and then a bundle of accumulated bills is collectively carried to the receipt/payment unit 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
