<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer robot capable of achieving structural simplification and suppressing equipment manufacturing costs and weight. <P>SOLUTION: The transfer robot includes a horizontal arm unit for holding a transfer object, and a pair of leg units. The transfer robot is configured so that each of the pair of leg units includes a first link with a first joint connected thereto, and a second link connected to a second joint and supporting the horizontal arm unit through a third joint.
