COIL, STATOR FORMED BY USING COIL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING COIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil capable of achieving excellent heat dissipation and high space factor and effectively preventing deterioration from occurring on an insulation coating in the coil aligned and disposed in slots of a stator core, and also to provide a stator formed by using the coil and a method of manufacturing the coil.

SOLUTION: A coil 12 is aligned and disposed in a slot part 11c of a stator core 11. In the coil made of a rectangular wire, a coil end part E protruding outside the slot part 11c has unevenness in the thickness of the coil 12 in the radial direction of the stator core 11 along the axial direction of the stator core 11.
