SKIN CARE PREPARATION FOR EXTERNAL USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel skin care preparation for external use that exhibits excellent skin-beautifying and whitening effects.

SOLUTION: The skin care preparation for external use comprises: (A) an extract of a fermented red sweet potato obtained by fermenting a rootstock of a red sweet potato by using Aspergillus oryzae and a yeast, then squeezing a fermented product and subjecting the resultant solid matter to extraction; and (B) at least one medicine selected from the group consisting of an anti-inflammatory agent and a skin-whitening agent.
