<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graph display device capable of displaying a coordinate value of a coordinate point on a graph at an appropriate position by simple processing together with the graph. <P>SOLUTION: When a graph part passing through a drawing object coordinate point (xa,ya) on a graph y=f(x) is a graph part of a curve present in one area from the coordinate point, the other area [ya>ga(x)] on the outer side of the curve is determined as a coordinate value drawing area, and the coordinate value (xa,ya) is drawn at an appropriate position without overlapping with the graph y=f(x). In the other cases, even in the case that the graph part passing through a drawing object coordinate point (x,y) is a straight graph part or is a graph part where one and the other graph tracks are curved and extended in areas in opposite directions for instance, one area [y>g(x)] or the other area [y<g(x)] with a tangent line [y=g(x)] with the graph of the coordinate point (x,y) as a boundary is determined as a default coordinate value drawing area, and the coordinate value is drawn at an appropriate position without overlapping with the graph y=f(x). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
