<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve conveying performance of a developer in a developer conveying device that has different conveying directions despite a single developer conveying path. <P>SOLUTION: A toner container includes a container body, and a cylindrical part protrudingly provided on the container body and having a toner discharge port. The cylindrical part is disposed with a rotating member 54 for conveying the toner in two normal and inverse directions. The rotating member 54 includes a first conveying member 55 protrudingly provided on the periphery of a rotary shaft 541, and a dispersion member 57 disposed therearound. A relation between a projected area S1 of the first conveying member 55 and a projected area S2 of an annular gap between the outermost peripheral part 55A of the first conveying member 55 and the inner surface 57A of the dispersion member 57 are so set as to satisfy the following expression: 0.4<S2/S1<19.0. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
