<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven compressor including an inverter assembly capable of preventing attachment of foreign matter to electronic components or a circuit board and damage during assembly. <P>SOLUTION: In the inverter assembly 5 of the motor-driven compressor 1, a thermally conductive elastic member 18 is disposed between the circuit board 14 and a basal part 8a of the base member 8, between the circuit board 14 and a sidewall 8b of the base member 8, and on a surface on a housing 2 side of the circuit board 14.
