<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector with which when the projector is inclined due to an operation of an operation part by a user, execution of trapezoidal distortion correction is suppressed so that trapezoidal distortion correction of an image is not performed more than necessary. <P>SOLUTION: In a projector including a projection part for projecting and displaying an image on a nearly vertical screen, a gravity acceleration sensor that detects a fluctuation of the projection part (step S5), an automatic trapezoidal distortion correction part for automatically performing trapezoidal distortion correction of the image displayed on the screen on the basis of an inclination angle in a vertical direction of the projection part detected by the gravity acceleration sensor (steps S6 and S7), and an operation part for allowing a user to input an operation command, the automatic trapezoidal distortion correction part does not perform the trapezoidal distortion correction of the image when the operation part is operated(step S1; YES). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
