<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus, a streaking correction method, etc. capable of improving correction accuracy of streaking. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises a pixel arrangement part 2, a vertical scanning part 5, and a column processing part 6. The pixel arrangement part 2 comprises a valid region VR, a first shading region OB1, and a second shading region OB2. The column processing part 6 comprises a first column processing part CL1 and a second column processing part CL2. The first column processing unit CL1 processes pixel signals from pixels in the valid region VR and the first shading region OB1. The second column processing part CL2 processes pixel signals from pixels in the second shading region OB2.
