<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small piezoelectric vibrator for obtaining a frequency signal stable over a wide temperature range, and an oscillator including the piezoelectric vibrator. <P>SOLUTION: Vibration units 11 and 21 are provided for a common piezoelectric plate 1, and a frame-like body 31 is disposed surrounding these vibration units 11 and 21. First and second support units 12 and 22 for supporting the vibration units 11 and 21, respectively relative to the frame-like body 31 are provided for the piezoelectric plate 1. The frame-like body 31 is provided with electrode pads 15 and 25 connected to excitation electrodes 13 and 23 of the vibration units 11 and 21, respectively. Between these vibration units 11 and 21 is provided an elastic boundary region 32 formed by twin crystallization of the piezoelectric plate 1, for example, thereby suppressing the propagation of the vibration of the piezoelectric plate 1.
