<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of removing steam without enlarging an apparatus itself and suppressing the amount of steam to be exhausted outside the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a fuser 91 that fixes, by heat, a toner image to be transferred onto a recording sheet to be conveyed; an external cover that has an exhaust port for exhausting steam generated from the recording sheet caused by fixation using the fuser 91, to the outside of the image forming apparatus; and a porous moisture adsorbing member 220 for adsorbing part of the steam. The moisture adsorbing member 220 is fixed to the upper part of the fuser 91 and the lower part of the external cover, and fixed at a location where the steam, after having drifted upward along the part of a conveying path of the recording sheet, passes through the moisture adsorbing member 220. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
