摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing highly durable pearlite formed by foaming rock raw materials such as pearlite and obsidian by heating, in which resistance to fracture is enhanced thereby capable of producing products with stable quality. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing highly durable pearlite by separating pearlite formed by heating and foaming rock raw materials, based on the difference in specific gravity. The method for producing the highly durable pearlite is characterized in that pearlite is placed in a container, compressed air is supplied to the inside of the container from the bottom portion of the container to blow up and fluidize the pearlite, whereby pearlite having relatively small specific gravity (referred to as light pearlite) is put to the upper side of the container, and pearlite having a relatively large specific gravity (referred to as heavy pearlite) goes to the lower side of the container so that the pearlite is separated up and down depending on the specific gravity, and then the light pearlite in the upper side of the container is recovered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
