PURPOSE: A reverse auction method through wire/wireless communication networks and a system thereof are provided to improve reliability and revitalize reverse auction. CONSTITUTION: A reverse auction method through wire/wireless communication networks comprises the steps of: registering product information of which product a buyer wants to buy through wire/wireless communication networks to a reverse auction server(S1); creating a product-to-purchase which is an auction item, based on the product information registered in step S1 and providing the auction item to two or more product providers through wire/wireless communication networks by the reverse auction server(S7, S8); registering an supporting grant and price to the reverse auction server for selling the auction item by each of the two or more providers(selling price bidders) through wire/wireless communication networks(S9); offering the registered supporting grant and price as bidding information to the buyer through wire/wireless communication networks by the reverse auction server(S10 or S13); and transmitting information of bidder determination after receiving the bidding information and determining a bidding winner(S15).
