<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for treating a PCB contaminant other than nonferrous metal, capable of removing various washing solvents after washing the PCB contaminant other than nonferrous metal such as a paper element which is the PCB contaminant. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for treating the PCB contaminant other than nonferrous metal includes a washing apparatus 13 washing the PCB contaminant other than nonferrous metal (e.g., PCB-contaminated insulating paper, wood, wood waste, cloth, cloth waste, sludge, etc.) with the washing solvent (e.g., IPA) 12; a washing solvent separator 14 separating the washing solvent 12 impregnated in the washed PCB contaminant after washed in the washing apparatus 13; a drying apparatus 15 drying the PCB contaminant 11B from which the solvent is removed in the washing solvent separator 14; and an elution determining apparatus 16 determining the presence/absence of content PCB in the PCB contaminant 11 after dried. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
