<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for manufacturing a magnet ribbon capable of attaining a uniform fine structure and an excellent magnetic characteristic provided thereby, by preventing mixture of the ribbon generated at an unwanted cooling speed in a case when a ribbon of magnet alloy is manufactured by rapid solidification. <P>SOLUTION: When manufacturing a magnet ribbon by rapid solidification by discharging a molten metal of magnet alloy onto the surface of a cooling roller, the cooling rate of the molten metal that is rapidly solidified is continuously measured, and a proper ribbon is selectively collected which is generated at a cooling rate within a range in which a desired solidification structure is generated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
