<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic compressor in which the quantity of lubricating oil to be supplied to a piston during low-speed rotation is secured, low-speed rotation can be performed and efficiency and reliability can be improved. <P>SOLUTION: A hermetic compressor comprises a first lubricating oil discharge hole 114 and a second lubricating oil discharge hole 115 which are communicated from a connecting hole 113 to the outer circumference of an eccentric shaft part 110 and provided in a vertical direction. Therefore, even during low-speed rotation operation, lubricating oil 107 can be discharged from the second lubricating oil discharge hole 115 and supplied to a piston or a cylinder. Furthermore, when a rotating speed is increased, the lubricating oil 107 is also discharged from the upper first lubricating oil discharge hole 114 or an upper end of the connecting hole 113, thereby performing stable oil supply to the piston 119 or the cylinder 117.
