<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress floating of toner powder smoke inside an image forming apparatus caused by air blowing means. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a plurality of imaging units 10 having photoreceptors 11 arranged in one direction as main components; an intermediate transfer unit 20 including an intermediate transfer body 21 on which toner images formed on the photoreceptors 11 are transferred; and an air blowing unit 40 for cooling the imaging units 10. A shield member 50 for shielding circulation of air is arranged at a portion where the air blowing unit 40, the intermediate transfer unit 20, and an imaging unit 10y of the plurality of imaging units 10 that is arranged on the uppermost stream side in an image formation order intersect one another. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
