<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a crystal device which is excellent in impact resistance, is capable of reducing manufacturing errors, is inexpensive, and is easy to manufacture, and in which an electrode can be easily extracted from a crystal piece. <P>SOLUTION: The crystal piece 2 having a peripheral part 2a, and a vibration region 2a partially separated from the peripheral part 2b by a U-shaped cut groove 15, and an upper side vessel 1a and a lower side vessel 1b holding the crystal piece 2 between them by joining it to the entire periphery of the peripheral part 2b of the crystal piece 2 from the upper and lower parts of the crystal piece 2 through low melting point glass layers 8a, 8b are provided, and the vibration region 2a forming the center part of the crystal piece 2 is hermetically sealed in a space formed by the upper side vessel 1a, the lower side vessel 1b and the peripheral part 2b of the crystal piece 2.
