PURPOSE: A structure and a method for installing an engine of an offshore structure are provided to smoothly supply engines in spite of a high demand of the engines because the offshore structure can use a caterpillar 3600 series engine which is a land generator. CONSTITUTION: A structure for installing an engine of an offshore structure comprises a first welding foundation(10) and second welding foundations(20). The first welding foundation is formed in the center of one side of the engine and is welded on the surface of a hull. The second welding foundations are formed in both ends of the other side of the engine and are welded on the hull.
