<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide terminal, base station, communication system and communication method, capable of efficiently transmitting/receiving a transmission data even when the base station notifies the terminal of control information through an extended physical downlink control channel. <P>SOLUTION: The terminal communicating with the base station monitors a physical downlink control channel allocated in a physical downlink control channel area; acquires upper-layer control information indicative of a plurality of extended physical downlink control channel areas different from the physical downlink control channel area; and, on acquisition of the upper-layer control information, switches to the physical downlink control channel allocated in the physical downlink control channel area, to monitor the extended physical downlink control channel allocated in at least one of the plurality of extended physical downlink control channel areas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
