<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent air for cooling an electrical power supply from adversely affecting the conveying of a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: An inkjet printer 10 as one embodiment includes: ink discharge heads 14a-14d; a first cassette 18 in which paper P is stored, a discharge tray 20 onto which the paper P is discharged; a first conveying path 22 that is a path for conveying the paper P from the first cassette 18 to the discharge tray 20 via a predetermined recording area Q; a first conveyor 24 which imparts a conveying force to the paper P; the electrical power supply 26; a first cooling air flow path 30 through which the air for cooling the electrical power supply 26 flows; an air blower 32; and a casing 12. The electrical power supply 26 and first cooling air flow path 30 are disposed in a vertically downward area relative to the first cassette 18, first conveying path 22 and ink discharge heads.
