<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide powder of lithium ion secondary battery anode material which excels in terms of environment and resource cost, and which achieves a good output characteristic in combination with a solid electrolyte. <P>SOLUTION: The powder of lithium ion secondary battery anode material comprises: a crystal represented by the general formula: Li<SB POS="POST">x</SB>M<SB POS="POST">1-y</SB>M'<SB POS="POST">y</SB>(XO<SB POS="POST">z</SB>)<SB POS="POST">n</SB>. In the formula, x, y, z and n satisfy the conditions: 0<x≤2; 0≤y<1; z=3 or 4; and 1≤n≤1.5, respectively; M is at least one of transition metals of the first row of the periodic table; M' is at least one of Nb, Ta, Ge, Sn, Al, Ga, Zn, Mg and Cu; and X is S, P, B or Si. The powder has a primary particle diameter D<SB POS="POST">1</SB>of 1.8 μm or less; the ratio D<SB POS="POST">2</SB>/D<SB POS="POST">1</SB>of a secondary particle diameter D<SB POS="POST">2</SB>to the primary particle diameter D<SB POS="POST">1</SB>is 5 or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
