<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a 4C or more olefin, which allows long-term stable operation without deterioration of the heat removing capability of a heat exchanger by preventing the deposition of a wall surface-adhered material within a reaction device. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for producing the 4C or more olefin by performing an additive reaction of ethylene in the presence of a transition metal catalyst, a reaction device for circulating a reaction mixture containing the generated olefin to an external heat exchanger 8 is provided, and the average liquid linear velocity in the circulating flow passage is set to a specific range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
