<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To selectively execute either remote control by operating an operating switch provided in a contact piece or remote control from an external control device, without increasing manufacturing cost or enlarging a measuring apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A measuring apparatus comprises a measuring section 13 which executes measurement processing for measuring electrical parameters regarding a measurement subject via test leads 6a, 6b. Furthermore, the measuring apparatus comprises a cable connection section 12 capable of selectively connecting either a remote control signal cable 37 for inputting to the measuring apparatus 1 an operation signal which is outputted when operating a hold switch 33 disposed in the test lead 6b, or a remote control signal cable 3 for inputting to the measuring apparatus 1 a control signal outputted from a personal computer 2.
