<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely finish the inner peripheral surface of a hole into a tapered shape by honing, to highly precisely form a crosshatch-like machining mark on the inner peripheral surface, and to efficiently perform finishing processing in a short period of time. <P>SOLUTION: Grinding is performed only when moving a honing head 11 along one axial direction of a hole 2 while rotating the honing head 11 disposed on the inner periphery of the hole 2 being a workpiece, by moving a grinding wheel 14 toward an outer diameter side and pressing it onto the inner peripheral surface 3 of the hole 2 with a predetermined pressure, and grinding accompanied with the pressing operation is repeated by switching the rotation directions of the honing head 11. When the grinding accompanied with the movement of the honing head 11 toward one axial direction is finished, the rotation drive of the honing head 11 is shut off, and a pressing state (pressing pressure P') not causing the progress of grinding of the inner peripheral surface 3 by the grinding wheel 14 is kept, to thereby brake the honing head 11 in inertial rotation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
