<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely determine that a variable displacement pump is fixed to a half-displacement operation state. <P>SOLUTION: When a traveling vehicle decelerates, the gear ratio of a transmission is controlled in the increasing direction by oil delivered by an oil pump OP. When a delivery flow rate of the oil pump OP is sufficient, the gear ratio is fully returned to LOW when the vehicle stops, and when the oil pump OP causes failure by being fixed to the half-displacement operation state and the delivery flow rate is not sufficient, the gear ratio is not fully returned to the LOW when the vehicle stops. A half-displacement state fixation determining means M5 can surely determine that the oil pump OP causes the failure by being fixed to the half-displacement operation state, due to determining that the oil pump OP is fixed to the half-displacement operation state, when the actual gear ratio of the transmission calculated by an actual gear ratio calculating means M1 is less than a fixation determining threshold value, that is, the gear ratio is not fully returned to the LOW, when a vehicle stopping determining means M3 determines stopping of the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
