<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus for setting a state for holding an optical state (focus state and zoom state) on power-off time, which a user intends on power-on time. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: a zoom lens; a focus lens; a focus driving section for driving the focus lens; a zoom position detecting section for detecting a position of the zoom lens; a focus position detecting section for detecting a position of the focus lens; a storage section for storing the position of the zoom lens and that of the focus lens; and a control section for controlling an operation of the imaging apparatus. The control section controls the storage section to store the position of the zoom lens, which the zoom position detecting section detects, and the position of the focus lens, which the focus position detecting section detects, in the storage section on power-off time of the imaging apparatus. The control section controls the focus driving section to compare the detected present position of the zoom lens and the position of the zoom lens, which is stored in the storage section on power-on time and to prevent the focus lens from moving to an initial position of the focus lens when both positions are equal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
