METHOD FOR PRODUCING DESULFURIZING AGENT, DESULFURIZING AGENT AND METHOD FOR DESULFURIZING HYDROCARBON

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new desulfurizing agent which has high mechanical strength and can desulfurize a hydrocarbon raw material highly and stably in the long period of time.

SOLUTION: A mixture composed of a copper compound, a zinc compound and an aluminum compound is blended with an aqueous solution of an alkaline substance to produce a precipitate. Obtained precipitate is calcined to obtain a molding of a mixture composed of copper oxide, zinc oxide and aluminum oxide. Then an impregnation process for impregnating the molding with an impregnation liquid containing aiming amount of at least one kind chosen between iron and nickel is carried out. Further when a calcination process for calcining the molding impregnated with the impregnation liquid is carried out, the impregnation liquid is divided to two or more and the impregnation process is carried out plural times to attain full impregnation of the molding.
