<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat occupancy sensor which can keep wiring routed in the shortest path between a connector section and a detection section including a pressure sensing switch when disposing the seat occupancy sensor in a vehicle seat cushion, and as a result, prevent breakage of a film when a seat is occupied by an occupant, and prevent the wiring from turning easily disconnected. <P>SOLUTION: A conduction section includes an insertion section that is inserted in a through-hole provided in a groove and penetrating through a pad member to a rear side thereof, a first bend that is bent to be in contact with a sitting-side surface and is provided in a direction crossing the concave groove, and a second bend that is bent to be in contact with the sitting-side surface and is provided on an opposite side of the concave groove from the first bend. An external output section is provided at a front end of the insertion section.
