<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pillar structure of an automobile which suppresses deformation caused by the turning of a front pillar in rolling over without causing an increases in cost and a vehicle weight and the deterioration of productivity. <P>SOLUTION: A pipe-like reinforcing member 25 arranged in the front pillar 2 includes an inclined part 25a extending along an upper half part 2b of the front pillar 2, and a connecting part 25b which is continued from the inclined part 25a and is bent so that at least a lower end 25e is orthogonal to a ridge line b of a bulk member 24.
