<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long retardation film with good manufacturing efficiency as an elliptically polarizing plate. <P>SOLUTION: In a retardation film manufacturing method, a long film that is laterally stretched at least in a width direction is obliquely stretched in a 20-50 degree direction with respect to the width direction. When a stretch temperature of the laterally stretching is T1 and a stretch temperature of the obliquely stretching is T2, stretching is made to satisfy the relation of T1-T2≥-3 for obtaining a retardation film roll. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
