摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle insertion detection device and method that can securely and stably detect a failure in insertion of a nozzle into a bag no matter in what shape a bag mouth may be in a failure in opening and no matter of what material a bag may be made. <P>SOLUTION: A nozzle insertion detection device 30 comprises an air cylinder 34, a pair of detection rods 52, 54, and a control device 56, and the air cylinder 34 and detection rods 52, 54, and an elevation shaft 20 of a gas substitution device 16 are coupled together by a plurality of brackets 32, 44, 46, 48, and 50. The detection rods 52, 54 are located on the right and the left sides of a gas blow-in nozzle 24 in a width direction of a bag 6 respectively, and can move by the air cylinder 34 to opposite directions along a thickness direction of the bag 6. A reed switch 42 provided to the air cylinder 34 detects the rods 38, 40 having moved to forward-movement end positions individually, and the control device 56 determines a failure insertion of the gas blow-in nozzle 24 into the bag 6 on the basis of a signal thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
