<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage of an induction heating apparatus by reducing a time until detecting abnormality based on a PWM signal compared with the past. <P>SOLUTION: An induction heating apparatus including an induction heating part 3 having a heating coil and performing temperature control of the induction heating part 3 based on a PWM signal, comprises: means 31, 33 detecting an ON-state time or an OFF-state time of the output PWM signal; and abnormality monitoring means (36-38) outputting the PWM signal to the induction heating part when the detected ON-state time or OFF-state time of the PWM signal is within a preset time range, and stopping the output of the PWM signal to the induction heating part when the detected ON-state time or OFF-state time of the PWM signal is without the preset time range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
