<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cold rolling a tungsten wire without causing cracks and tears. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of rolling the tungsten wire, by performing rolling work after protecting the surface of the tungsten wire 1 by applying metal plating 2 to the surface of the tungsten wire 1, cold rolling work is made possible without causing cracks and tears.
