The method involves treating a surface of a groove (4) by machining, texture, polishing, correction and sanding processes. A dry lubricating film of the groove bounded by two edges (2, 3) that are located at a preset distance along a rotation axis (X), is coated by a paste precursor, where the groove is coated with the paste precursor on a depth ranging between 5 and 50 micrometer, preferably more than 30 micrometer. The paste precursor is hardened to form the dry lubricating film. The edges are provided with a partially concave or chamfered profile. An independent claim is also included for a device for coating a mechanical part rotating around an axis with a dry lubricating film, by serigraphy.
