The installation (100) has an inlet pipe (8a) connecting a reservoir (10) containing reagents (A, B) to a continuous stirred tank reactor (1), where a pump (4) brings each reagent into the reactor. An outlet pipe (8b) connects the reactor to a container (11) for receiving products (C, D). A valve (7) is provided in one of the inlet pipe and the outlet pipe, where the reactor is suspended from a weighing element (2), and a control unit (14) is programmed to operate the valve. A sensor (16) measures the temperature of the weighing element. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling the installation for measuring the mass of bodies contained in a continuous stirred tank reactor.
