The method involves superimposing a set of layers having total thickness ranging between 10 mm and 300 mm. A multi-layer part is superimposed on the set of layers, and another multi-layer part is superimposed on the former multi-layer part. A rabbet part (19) is formed on the former multi-layer part, and a side rebate part (20) is arranged on a side of the former multi-layer part. The rabbet part and the side rabbet part allow assembly of a flexible material. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a thermal insulation device (2) a method for installation of a thermal insulation device.
