The present invention improves durability of a solid-oxide fuel-cell (SOFC) system and secures good electricity-generating performance during system use. In the SOFC system, fuel-gas flow rate to a fuel-cell stack is set at F1 at startup, fuel-gas flow rate is reduced to F2a (<F1) after the beginning of an increase in temperature when stack temperature T at the previous system-stop time is assessed to be at or below a designated value Tb at the time at which the temperature T of the fuel-cell stack has reached at least a first temperature T1, and the fuel-gas flow rate is reduced to F2b (<F2a) to retard temperature increase when stack temperature T is assessed to be higher than the designated value Tb. When stack temperature T reaches T2, fuel-gas flow rate is increased to return to F1, and the system transitions to the next step. |
