An electronic device terminal and a method of setting the shell color thereof are disclosed, so as to solve the limitation problem of selecting shell color through menus in the prior art. The terminal obtains the color information stored in itself or the color information of the environment in which it located, obtains the display color information of each color in the color information and the tricolor information corresponding to the display color information of each color, obtains the switch frequency of the LED lamp according to the corresponding relationship between the tricolor information and the switch frequency of the LED lamp in the LED lamp group, and then controls the switch and brightness of the LED lamp according to the switch frequency of the LED lamp, so as to make the shell, which is configured with the LED lamp group, display the corresponding color. The present invention realizes that the shell color of the terminal can be made by the obtained color of the exterior environment, the alterable rang of the shell color of the terminal is enhanced substantively, and the change limitation of shell color of the terminal due to the geography location is avoided. |
