The invention relates to ophthalmology and is intended for preventing the onset and progression of myopia. A treatment course of action on the eye is carried out with a magnetic field, with transscleral low-energy laser radiation of a wavelength of 1.3 mum, and the eyes are additionally opto-reflexively exercised. The entire treatment course consists of 5 sessions on alternate days. Beforehand, badminton is played for 2 hours 3 times a week for 2 months. During the treatment course, badminton is played twice a week on treatment-free days. After the course of treatment is finished, badminton is played 2-3 times a week for 1 year. The method makes it possible to shorten the treatment period and reduce the number of procedure sessions for the functional treatment of near-sightedness, while increasing and prolonging the effectiveness of myopia prevention and treatment and rendering children more positively psychologically disposed towards treatment. |
