<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for shortening a time required for a trader to place an order when electronically executing trading at an exchange, and for increasing possibility that the trader has orders filled with desirable prices and quantities. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed is the "Mercury" display and trading method for enabling a trader to quickly and efficiently execute trading by displaying market depth on a vertical or horizontal plane to secure the fast and accurate execution of trading.
