<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable stable traveling along a lane while suppressing corrective steering. <P>SOLUTION: A driving support device includes a steering-by-wire system steering device. An imparted steering reaction force is input into an operation element periodically according to a change in the steering amount of the operation element steered by a driver, and the number of imparted steering reaction forces having occurred during the continuous input of steering in one direction is detected.
