<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both of shortening of a drying period of time and airy finishing of clothes at a time of drying of clothes. <P>SOLUTION: Steam generating means 17 for supplying steam into a rotary drum 2 comprises: a water tank 23 for storing water therein; a moisture evaporator 22 for evaporating water supplied from the water tank 23; a feed pump 24 for supplying water from the water tank 23 to the moisture evaporator 22; and a heater 21 for heating the moisture evaporator 22.
