<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin foam molding apparatus having high energy utilization efficiency, and enabling rapid heating/cooling, thereby reducing molding cycle, while manufacturing a molding of uniform quality, and to provide a molding method. <P>SOLUTION: The resin foam molding apparatus 1 and the molding method using the molding apparatus 1 are provided. The resin foam molding apparatus 1 comprises a core mold 1A and a cavity mold 1B. At least one molding chamber 2 is formed between the molds. The core mold 1A and/or the cavity mold 1B is separated by a separator 3a, 3b into a molding zone 6a, 6b comprising a molding heating surface 4a, 4b and a space for service feed section 5a, 5b, and a steam chamber 8a, 8b.
