<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when the monitor space of a plurality of monitor cameras is the inside of a building where furniture or the like is installed or a corridor in the building, it is not possible to secure any space in which a reference object for calibrating the attitude of each camera is installed. <P>SOLUTION: Markers 7a and 7b are respectively arranged vertically under two cameras 2a and 2b installed to pick up images vertically under their own and mutual cameras. A visual line direction calculation part 30 uses, as for the camera 2a, the position coordinates of its own marker 7a in the image picked up by the camera and the other marker 7b vertically under the other camera to calculate a visual line direction from the camera to each marker. An attitude calculation part 31 uses a vertical direction to be obtained from the visual line direction to its own marker and an azimuth between the cameras 2a and 2b to be obtained from the visual line direction to the other marker to calculate the attitude of each camera in a world coordinate system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
